Chelsea blue.

I officially started the 2009 seniors today and I started with a bang.  Chelsea was an excellent subject…a great model and easy to get along with.  Plus they take me to this amazing property, of which I didn’t even scratch the surface of its potential.  I think I could spend a week there and still not have explored all of the opportunities!  And, as if that wasn’t enough, Chelsea wore this amazing baby blue prom dress that was just amazing.  Here is a sampling of what we did tonight:

A sweet family

Meet Drew and his family.  These guys remained adorable and sweet despite the sticky heat.  And Drew was a little trooper!

Owen and Ellie

Owen and Ellie came back for Owen’s one-year pictures this weekend.  We endured some nasty humidity and the wind wasn’t much fun either.  These two were troopers, especially considering the conditions.

Two beautiful girls.

Not just one amazingly cute girl, but two.  After this session a big group of us went out for dinner.  Three of the girls ended up outside of the restaurant playing in a big puddle.  Including adorable Kinley in her cute little dress.  And guess who didn’t have a camera.  Go figure!

Here’s Kinley:

 And little sister Jamison:

Kourtni…not a girly girl

So she says.  And her first outfit is a pink shirt with hearts :)  She proved herself to not be too girly girl when we got outside, though.  I had her laying on a filthy old bench and in the rocks and weeds.  She was game for it all.

This family won a silent auction I participated in last year.  They chose to use it for their two beautiful little girls.  Meet McKenna and Miley.

Buffalo Wild Wings - A Relay for Life Fundraiser

May 27, 2008 (posted by admin)

As many of you know, I am a big supporter of the American Cancer Society and Relay for Life.  So I must share that our Relay team is having a fundraiser at Buffalo Wild Wings by Grand Prairie tomorrow night from 5-8.  Aside from the excellent food of which a portion of the sales will be donated to our team, we will have raffles and silent auctions.  Some of the items that will be in the raffle and/or auction:

KV Imagery Gift Certificate (of course)

Chicago Cubs vs. Nationals on Aug. 24th

Peoria Pirates tickets

and…drumroll please……

Chicago Cubs Vs St. Louis Cardinals in September

We all have to eat, so come on out to Buffalo Wild Wings tomorrow night to support a good cause.  And make sure you stop by and say hi to me…I’ll be there all night.

Another new life…of the feathered variety.

I am a bit slow the last few weeks as we prepared for a quick trip to Wisconsin and trying to make sure everyone’s galleries were up to date.  So I meant to post this a few weeks ago, but I still love it and wanted to share.  We have been in our house for 2 springs and both springs have brought us a family of robins in our front bush.  This year I actually managed to get my camera and capture one of the baby robins a day or two after it hatched.  I think it’s amazing how fragile they seem and how fast they grow.  Especially wonderful this year was that Macy really was excited about watching the eggs and seeing the baby hatch.  To see the world for the first time through a child’s eyes is completely amazing to me.

Two and new.

Newborn twins again…how lucky am I?  Pretty lucky as these two are the babies of my childhood friend.  I was happy to have the chance to be in town when they were just 3 weeks old.  They were both great.  Brianna slept the entire time and Trenton was awake and happy the entire time.  That never happens on either account, so these two went really easy on me.  See how absolutely precious they are.

Awaiting…

A rare maternity session for me and oh how I love them.  There is something amazingly beautiful about the anticipation of new life.  Here are just a few to enjoy.
