Silly Faces Window Model Contest

As promised, here are our entries for the Silly Faces Window Model Contest. Thanks for all of the great entries! You guys have some seriously silly kiddos….and I LOVE IT!! Please vote for your favorite below.

The winner will receive a free minisession and 8×10 as well as an image of their kiddos proudly displayed in our front window for the month of July!!!

Window Model Contest – Submission request

We are soooo excited! We are going to be shooting and displaying one lucky client’s pictures in our front window for the month of July!!!! Who is it going to be? Well, that’s up to YOU! Send us one picture of your kid or kiddos making a silly face by June 4th and we will post them up for vote!

These will be a free mini (including 1 8×10 print) with a theme chosen by me (it’s a secret!) It will take place on June 15th so that we can get everything ready for the big unveiling July 1st.

Senior Face of 2010

Wow, it’s graduation time for another class of students! As the 2010 class prepares for the end of this stage of life and prepares for the very exciting next stage, I wanted to post another contest to remember all of the seniors I have photographed this year. The winner will receive a DVD slideshow of their session in a personalized leather case and a $100 gift card to Target, just to get you started as you go on to college, move out, etc. Last, but certainly not least, the winner will be featured on the cover of my class of 2010 book to be displayed at the studio.

This year I am going to change up the rules a bit. I am allowing one vote per person per day. So make sure you are reminding your friends every day to come out and place a vote for you. Also, I will add one additional vote per person that adds themselves as a fan on facebook. To get this vote, like my page then post a comment on my page wall with the number of the person you are voting for. This is good for new fans only.

Our annual fundraiser is wrapping up with just a few orders left to deliver! No official numbers yet, but I will release the total donation amount at the end of this contest. As a thank you to all who participated, we are running a Sweet Faces Contest! The winner will receive a mini accordion brag book from their session.

Hats! A fundraiser for the American Cancer Society

Our annual photo minisessions to raise funds for the American Cancer Society is Saturday, March 20th. We are very excited for our theme this year: Hats! This year we will be able to take all ages and both boys and girl. We can even take teenagers and adults this year, opening up the possibilty of mother/daughter pictures, father/son, and even he whole family. The only rule is that you have to wear a hat. We have a stack of containers about as tall as me full of hats, so there is a large selection provided, but you are welcome to bring your own, too.

Back this year is NO SESSION FEE! I know you’ll all love that! In just the last two years we have raised over $7,000 for the American Cancer Society. We want to keep up our good work this year, so please pass this on to anyone who may be interested!

Feeling the Christmas spirit – Giving is Awesome

You know someone. You know someone who’s experienced a tragedy, is struggling to stay afloat, is raising kids while holding down more than one job, or is volunteering selflessly despite extenuating personal circumstances. You know someone who can’t afford custom photography, but who would cherish it this holiday season. You know someone who deserves a year-round reminder of their family’s spirit, love, and beauty.

You know someone. I guarantee it.

I want to know who they are, and I want to give them the chance to experience complimentary custom photography — $1,250 worth, to be exact. Whether it’s canvas or albums, prints for Grandma, or a slideshow to watch over and over, it’s in your power to give them the artwork they deserve this holiday season.

Oh, and the best part? The person who nominates the winner receives a $250 print credit. What better reason to show some love could there possibly be, people?

The rules:

* You cannot nominate yourself, and the person nominated must sincerely be incapable of purchasing my services. (Being unable to make mortgage payments for a two-million-dollar-vacation-home in Paris does not qualify as sincere financial need.)
